Onboarding Portal

Design Brief

Background

- An Intelligent Enterprise Platform that is focused on Innovate at Speed, Data-driven, Customer and Employee Interaction.
-The platform uses the client’s data and insights and combines them with the most advanced thinking and tools around industry, innovation, and technology.
- It aims at capturing, managing, and analyzing data to provide holistic and highly personalized guidance to the power industry and business function transformation.

The Challenges

-One of the major challenges was managing content, as these screens were content-heavy. Due to limited Industry Knowledge, there were some minor constraints in understanding the data.

-As this was an Industry Specific project, the majority of the new industries wanted Unique screens for themselves which led to a variety of screens being represented in a different way.

-In the initial phase Handoff to the development team was also a task as we used to share all of the elements individually.

The Solution

-As a team, we prioritized the challenges and decided to create a template version for most of the screens to keep it consistent all over the portal.

-We managed to come up with successful industry-specific templates that could be leveraged by other departments as well.

-For developer handoff, we started using a tool called “Zeplin” and also started sharing High Fidelity Prototypes with the development team. It was a smooth process as all of the elements were in one place.

My Role

-I got an opportunity to design screens for different industries like Chemicals, Insurance, Airlines, Retail & Fashion, and many more. As each industry had a different approach to the portal, I got to work on almost every aspect.

-My aim was to provide visually rich screens in which all of the data was easily accessible.

-I also created micro-interactions for the portal using Invision Studio.
